DEPARTMENTS
Flight Operations
Ensures that flights are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with aviation regulations, covering Flight Planning, Crew Management, Safety and Compliance, Flight Dispatching and Operational Control. Also ensuring new innovations and training methods to be implied in the structure to guarantee safe operation of the flights. In essence, the Flight Operations Department ensures that the airline’s flights are running smoothly, safely, and in compliance with regulations while minimizing risks and delays.
Ground Operations
Manages and ensure airport operations and services, achieving highest standard of safety, punctuality, and customer care. Additionally, develop strategies to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
Technical Department
Oversees the continuing airworthiness of our aircrafts. Ensures regulatory compliance, maintains the fleet, and completes aircraft deliveries.
Safety & Compliance
Performs the identification of safety hazards entailed by the activities of the Volotea Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and Volotea Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO).
Operations Planning
In charge of the planification and execution of all the topics related to crew. Their responsibilities extend from the crew needs in the long term, creating the monthly rosters for all our crews and managing crew resources during the operation.
OCC
Monitors, coordinates and manages the execution of the planned flight operations in a safe, regulatory compliant, efficient and punctual way, dealing with day-to-day disruptions to minimize cost and impact on passengers. It provides centralized real-time operational control of all flights, including aircraft movement control, Flight Dispatch, Maintenance Control, Crew Tracking and Gound Ops Control.
IT
Ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of our airline’s digital operations. We manage critical infrastructure, global connectivity, and secure payment systems while supporting reservations, ticketing, and air ticket distribution. With a robust cloud infrastructure, we deliver high-performance computing, data-driven insights, and advanced cybersecurity. Our mission: to drive efficiency, resilience, and a seamless experience for employees and customers.
Commercial
Maximize revenue by selling the right ticket, to the right customer, at the right time, and at the right price, using the most effective sales channels and offering add-on services that enhance the customer experience and boost revenue. This is combined with estimating passenger demand and forecasting company revenues.
Strategy
Focuses on maintaining a profitable, scalable, and sustainable network by maximizing aircraft utilization and managing the company’s future growth in a profitable and long-term sustainable way. This involves allocating new capacity, launching new routes, entering new markets, and opening new bases.
People
